There are many ways to gain new insurance clients, you can create your own leads or use live leads through inbound consumer calling. Regardless of how you are gaining new clients agents must continue to market themselves and their agency.

I have talked about marketing ideas in the past and most recently wrote about ways to market, specifically auto insurance. Now, I want to take those ideas and combine them with useful insurance marketing tools to help grow your business.

Facebook advertising is a great tool to get your agency in front of the right people. It’s reasonably priced and you can choose how long you want your ad to run and what demographic and location will see it. Don’t worry if you are not familiar with Facebook, they walk you through it step-by-step, to make the whole process so smooth, you will want to do it again and again.

To continue the trend of technology, I have written about how sending emails to your clients is so important to keep up communication and for marketing such as newsletters. Did you know there are also tools out there specifically for email marketing? Zanebenefits.com, recommends, Mailchimp and/or Constant Contact. Both are simple to use and will also provide reports and information about which marketing emails perform the best and your email open rates.

Finally, myself and most insurance websites can’t stress this enough, spend some money and get a CRM (customer relations management) system. Note this doesn’t only have to be an actual system you can also establish this as a hired position within your agency. Insuranceleadsguide.com recommends a number of systems, but cautions it’s not a one size fits all situation. They also write, “The right solution for each agency is becoming a bit more complicated every day. The options vary depending on being independent or captive, by product line and by state. Your ideal solution will also vary based on your desire to cherry pick services or go with an all-in-one provider.” Check out their post to see if any of the systems would work for your agency.
